New Delhi: Former Pakistan captain Zaheer Abbas has suggested that Babar Azam is currently struggling with the form, either very egoistic or very shy to consult experienced players.
Zaheer, who scored 100 first -class centuries, emphasized the importance of Babur consultation with senior players to address technical flaws in his batting.

“I think either Babar Azam has an ego issue or is very shy to consult his seniors to overcome his current situation,” Zaheer said, quoting PTI.
He cited examples such as Younis Khan to consult Mohammad Azharuddin in 2016, and was consulting Azharuddin Zaheer during India’s 1989–90 visit to Pakistan.
Zaheer referred to the change in Babur’s attitude, suggesting that it was more closed, potentially time issues and early dismissal.
He said, “In 2016, Younis Khan spoke to Muhammad Azharuddin and went to England to score a double hundred. I also remember how Azharuddin sought me guidance on a tour of India in 1989-90 for Pakistan in 1989-90.” “He was struggling to find runs, and I asked him to change his batting hold.
