Delroy Lindo was happy to help Marvel with his long -awaited “blade” remake until it all went wrong.
In a recent interview with Entertainment WeeklyLindo, which was once associated with the Marvel Reboot, discussed the problems that reduce the development of a long delayed Vampire flick.
“When Marvel came to me, he was really interested in my input,” Lindo said. “And at that time in various conversations with the manufacturer, writer, director, it was all leading to be very inclusive. It was actually ideologically exciting, but it was also exciting in the context of the character that was going to be. And then, for whatever reason, it just went away from the rail.”
He belonged to the role he played in “Blade”, which he played in Ryan Kougler’s recent action-hurry style, “Ciners”.
He said, “I am not saying that this is an out-out Garve-It,” he said. “It’s not so, but only in the context of the fact that this man’s philosophy, his ethos, and what was running him. He was a character that was like ‘sinners’, a community, a black community. He was a character who was the head of this community.”
After being announced in 2019, “Blade” was slated for the premiere on 7 November 2025. However, in October 2024, the film was completely removed from Marvel’s release calendar. Despite the exit of two directors associated with the project and several screenplay writers, Marvel CEO Kevin Pheiga said in the D23 Brazil 2024 that he remained “committed” to the project.
“We love the character,” Fij said at that time. “We like to take Maharshala on it.
