To read easy

If you ever have a long reading session that gives you cramps in hand, these stuff can help. You can see more options in our best kindle accessories guide.
Strapsical e-read hand straps for $ 21: Attach these two behind your kindle – one is angled to your right hand and the other to your left – and slide your hand. Your hands will not cramps, you will not accidentally hit the screen and flip pages, and the readers will not get out of your hands. There are three sizes to keep different types of e-readers. You should look properly which models they work on Amazon pages, as well as on this page on the strapsical website.
Lamicall goosneck tablet holder for $ 22: Wired critic Nina Fareel tested it and said that while it is not completely free from hands, it is a super convenient and comfortable experience, especially if you have chronic pain in your wrist. The clamp is easy to connect to the bed frame and side table (there is also a floor stand version for $ 70). It is light to deploy anywhere and has enough resistance to the neck that it does not fall forward or out of the position you keep it inside. It touches a little when touched to bend to bend (or collides with a curious cat), so he enters themselves to relax one hand on it to keep himself and his Felin roommate stable. If you want to go completely free from hands, add a page-turner remote so that you can read without raising the finger.
Popasocket for $ 10: Popsockets are not just for your phone; They also do great work on e-texts. Whether you have a paperwite or a basic kindle, it is another great solution to reduce hand cramps.
Basic Kindle Belt Bag for Hello Cleo $ 64: If you are always traveling with your kindle, but do not want to carry a big bag, it is a great accessory. This is a soft interior to keep your screen safe, as well as with extra pockets for your phone, keys and wallets. It can fit the basic kindle, kindle paperwite, kindle oasis and kindle colorsoft. If you have a kindle scribe, Hello Cleo also offers Arlo Kindle Backpack ($ 88).
65W Slim Power Adapter for Nomadic $ 65: Kindle has long battery life, but I still take a charger with me Now! If. This is my favorite one of the nomad. It is super thin and comes with two USB-C ports, so I use it to charge my e-reader and my phone together (save 45 watts on the left and save the right 20 watts while charging two devices at the same time). The prongs also bend, so it fits well in the side pocket of my bag.
Do you need a cover?

Kindle, thankfully, are not as delicate as our expensive smartphones, but you can still want to add a cover for the protection of the screen if you are often totaling it in a bag. These are not padded for serious drops. Children’s version comes with matters.
Fabric Cover for Kindle ($ 32) And Paperwite ($ 37): These open like a book and come in some translations of black, blue, pink or green. They are made of post -consumer recycled fabric.
Fabric cover for scribe ($ 60): It flutters up and up like a notepad, and you can also place it in a stand. There is also a slot for the pen if you do not want it to be magnetically attached. It is also made with recycled materials.
Quarki Cup Collective E-Reder Sleeve for $ 42: I like these grand sleeves, especially the Sun and the Moon version. They are beautiful and will protect your device when you are not using it, so you can throw it into your bag without any worry. Out is velvet and there is satin inside, some padding in the middle and a zip closed. There is a small zip pocket on the back. On each product page, you will see which devices fit, but consult the measurement. There are also different, large books and iPad sleeves.
Cobak clear case for $ 10: The best thing about being a clear case is that it protects behind your kindle And Allows you to decorate it with stickers below. I recommend this funny sticker pack ($ 10).
Great reading light

If you read before bed, but do not want to disturb the sleeping partner, children or roommates, then I suggest investing in a reading light. All the kindle now has a front light, so you are not need One, but these can still be easy, especially if you switch between your kindle and physical books. Below are some of our favorite. You can find more in our best reading lights guides.
LED Book Light for Vekkia 14 $ 16: This is our top pick. It is a clip-on light with an adjustable goosneck and two Swaving light bars that packs each seven LEDs each. You can cycle through five levels of brightness and three warm colors. This is relatively large, however, it is not very good for small paperbacks. The clamp opens widely as 2.1 inch and serves as a stable base to make place in a night.
Gloccent LED Neck Reading Lite for $ 22: This reading light wraps around your neck, so it looks silly. But it is an excellent choice for a clip-on reading light, while the remaining is free from hands. It is light, adjustable, and with three color temperature mode -comes with six bright settings. It is rechargeable and provides battery life of up to 80 hours in dimer settings.
Black Diamond Vij Vij Haylamp for $ 28: This is our favorite headlamp for children. It is comfortable, and adjustable straps come in different colors. It has three brightness settings and an IPX4 water-resistance rating, so you do not have to worry about the splashes. It automatically closes itself after two hours, if they fall asleep with it. It takes two AAA batteries.
About those old kindles
Amazon often does not release new kindle – the company takes a few years among the models. Whenever a new one comes, the stock of its predecessor starts to decrease. It is not that I do not recommend these, but I only suggest that you can find them on sale for the right price. Otherwise, I recommend buying the latest version.
Before making your purchases, cross the price with the latest models to make sure that you are spending a reasonable amount on the old device.
- Kindle (2022, 11th generation): It is 6.2 inches long and 4.3 inches wide with a 6 -inch screen. If you find the tablet very cumbersome to hold with one hand, consider it. With this model, Amazon doubled the storage in 16 gigabytes and upgraded the display in 300 pixels per inch (PPI) resolution (above 167 ppi). It is difficult to find, but if you manage to an obstacle, you should not spend more than $ 50.
- Kindle Pepperwite (2021, 11th generation): This is the next step from the original model. It has a bright 6.8-inch screen with adjustable warm lighting, a fast page-turn rate, a USB-C port and 16 gigs storage. It is also waterproof. I like the signature edition (8/10, wired recommendations), including auto-adjust brightness and 32 gigabytes storage. If you can find them, I do not recommend spending more than $ 100.
- Kindle scribe (first generation): Scribe (8/10, wired recommendations) is a great option for those taking note. It has a huge 10.2-inch screen to take notes, mark PDF, or drawing, and many paper formats that you can choose, such as college-masters or dotted. It also comes with the original pen, which seems natural to write and attach to the Kindle side. I suggest it only for $ 230 or less.
- Kindle Kids (2022): This is an entry-level Kindle’s baby-friendly version. It comes with a cover, Amazon Kids+, one year of membership for parents control and two-year warranty. I do not suggest spending more than $ 70 on it.
- Kindle Pepperwight Kids (2021): The paperwit version is a step from the kindle children. It has a high-resolution 300-PPI display with an adjustable warm screen and also waterproofing. You should not spend more than $ 110 on it.
