FCC President Brendon car targeted CNN and MSNBC, fulfilling his coverage of Kilmar Ebrego Garcia’s exile “news deformation”.
On Wednesday, Carr faced X to share his ideas how COCCATSTELS was covering the Garcia status, responding to a post of Steven Chewn, Communications Assistant of the White House.
“Comcast outlets spent the days to confuse the American public- stating that Abrego Garcia was only a law to follow American citizens, just a regular ‘Maryland Man,” Carr wrote. “When the truth is revealed, they ignore it. The Cocamast knows that the federal law requires its licensed work to serve the public interest. The news deformation does not cut it.”
He continued, “Abrego Garcia came to America illegally from Al Salvador, valid as a member of the violent MS13 gang – an international criminal organization – and an immigration court denied that he would not be a threat to others. Why he would not be a threat to others. Why does the commentary clear public interest?”
Comcast did not respond immediately DiversityRequest for comment.
The use of Carr of the word “news variation” reflects them by chasing the FCC complaint against Comcast or MSNBC on those grounds, as she is present in a fight with CBS in her “60 minutes” interviews of Kamala Harris in the last October. However, FCC has less rights for the contents of cable channels such as MSNBCs, as it does CBS -owned broadcast TV stations.
Garcia, the father of an American woman and a husband, has been the subject of a media firstorm, as he was suddenly deported in an Al Salvadorian jail from the United States due to “administrative error”, according to the Department of Justice.
