The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Thursday that the Ford Motor is remembering more than 148,000 vehicles in the United States as two recall.
The automekar will recall 123,611 vehicles due to a fluid leak that can reduce braking performance and increase the distance. It affects some 2017-18 Ford F-150, campaign and Lincoln navigator model.
The US Auto Safety Regulator said that dealers are expected to replace affected parts such as master cylinders or brake boosters.
Separate, Ford is recalling 24,655 out of its 2025 explorer vehicles as the powertrain control module (PCM) may be reset when driving, which can damage the vehicle’s park system according to the regulator or cause engine stalls.
Dealers are expected to fix the software issue free of cost, with owners receiving notification letters by 26 May.
