Hyundai Motor Company has launched All-New Nexo Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) at the Seoul Mobility Show in Korea.
The middle-shaped SUV of the second generation demonstrates progression in hydrogen fuel cell technology, targeting increased range, increased safety and better performance.
The vehicle has a re-designed exterior based on Hyundai’s ‘Art of Steel’ design language, huge interior with sustainable materials and advanced driver-help systems, based on many technological upgrades. With this, Hyundai aims to achieve a range of more than 700 km over a five -minute fuel time for Nexo.
design features
The exterior design of Nexo is based on an initium concept, in which the ‘HTWO’ lamp is serving as a specific design element. It will be available in six colors: creamy white pearl, Phantom Black Pearl, Amazon Gray Metallic, Ocean IndiGo Matt, Ecotronic Gray Pearl and Goy Copper Pearl. The car now provides an increase in the capacity of the battery.
Technical reforms include underbody optimization and airflow management, reducing the drag with active noise control-road (ANC-R) technology and sound-absorbed tires.
It also has a multi-cake structure and up to nine airbags for passenger and hydrogen tank conservation. Advanced Driver Support System (ADAS) technologies have been included for the prevention of conflict.
