“I think it is difficult to see IPL as a premiere competition. I think it is probably very clear,” he said. “But every other competition is probably just behind. In England, we are trying to do it like PSL which is the second best competition in the world. Big Bash is also trying to do so.”

Billings highlighted that various leagues faced unique challenges. “Each competition presents different challenges. The conditions in Pakistan, India, Australia or England are different. It forces you to customize and makes you a better cricketer,” he said.
