Epic adaptation of Nitesh Tiwari Ramayana The scale and spectacle continue to grow with each new development, and now sources suggest that actor Kunal Kapoor, who plays Lord Indra in the film, is ready to feature in a huge action sequence unlike Yash, which portrays powerful Ravana. The shoot for the film is already running and Yash will start shooting for his share this week.
According to sources close to the production shared with Etimes, one of the pieces of the film’s major set will have a high-octane battle between Lord Indra and Ravana-one intense performance that occurs after a penance after austerity after a penance and three reality: Earth, heaven and hell begins their victory. This moment in the story is an important point in the rise of Ravan, where he challenges God and defeats himself in the dialect to claim his dominance.
The action blocks are reportedly being placed on a huge scale, with a wide set, VFX-thunder sequence and comprehensive stunt choreography. Kunal Kapoor is known for his vast appearance and powerful performance in films such as Rang de Basanti and Empire, will be seen in a rare action avatar as he takes into a fierce duel on fame that pushes both characters to their limits.
According to mythology, during this fight, Ravana beats Lord Indra and when Lord Brahma intervenes to stop him, it is away from finishing it. However, the story does not end there for Indra. When there is a final confrontation between Lord Rama and Ravana, Lord Indra gets a moment of redemption. He sends his astronomical chariot down to help Lord Ram in his fight against evil, thus playing an important role in turning the tide.
This story arc not only adds depth to Lord Indra’s character, but Kunal Kapoor also provides a unique opportunity to portray strength, necklace and final redemption – all visually wrapped in grand packages. Set to collide in this dramatic sequence with Yash and Kunal, Ramayana is taking shape as a cinematic experience contrary to anyone else
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Sarpankha as Rakul Preet Singh and a strong line as Lara Dutta Kaki.
