After the release of the film on April 10, a case was registered against prominent actors along with the director and producer on Friday. The case was filed at Sadar police station in Jalandhar under Section 299 of the Indian Justice.

Manufacturers release forgiveness and remove the scene
In response to backlash, Jat manufacturers released an official statement and confirmed that the controversial scene had been removed. The statement said, “On which it can be a matter of concern, there is a backlash for a specific scene in the film. This scene has been removed from the film with immediate effect.
Schematic protest stopped after police intervention
Prior to removing the scene, members of the Christian community allegedly planned to protest outside theaters outside the screening of the film. However, police intervention helped reduce the situation, and an ultimatum of 48 hours was given, warning of protest if no action was taken. Filmmakers’ quick decision to edit the film helped prevent further unrest.
Sunny Deol, who acts in the film and is a former member of Parliament GurdaspurFound himself at the center of controversy due to his public profile. The issue has since gained traction in social media and political circles since then, although no formal comments have been made by Sunny Deol or Randeep Hooda.
