Maruti Suzuki India has announced the financial results for the year ended March 31, 2025, revealing record annual sales, exports, and net profit for FY25, despite a muted domestic market growth.
Maruti Suzuki reported a decline in PAT for the last quarter of FY25. The company achieved its highest ever annual total sales and exports, maintaining its position as the top exporter for the fourth consecutive year, contributing nearly 43per cent of total passenger vehicle exports from India.
Maruti Suzuki’s PAT decreased 4.3 per cent to ₹3,711.1 crore in Q4 FY25 when compared with ₹3,877.8 crore in the same quarter of FY24. Domestic sales grew by 2.8per cent and exports grew by 8.1per cent , resulting in an overall growth of 3.5per cent for the quarter. Domestic sales stood at 519,546 units and exports at 85,089 units.
In the fourth quarter (January-March) of FY2024-25, the company achieved its highest ever quarterly sales. A total of 604,635 units were sold during this period.
FY25 results
A modest domestic sales growth of 2.7per cent was offset by a healthy 17.5per cent export growth, leading to an aggregate growth of 4.6per cent for the year.
The company sold a total of 2,234,266 vehicles during the year. This comprised 1,901,681 units in the domestic market and 332,585 units in the export market. Maruti Suzuki registered record Net Sales of ₹1,451,152 million in FY25. This represents a growth of 7.5per cent over the Net Sales of ₹1,349,378 million in FY24.
The company also achieved its all-time high Net Profit of ₹139,552 million in FY2024-25. This is 5.6per cent higher than the Net Profit of ₹132,094 million in FY24.
During this period, the Company registered Net Sales of ₹388,488 million. This is as against ₹366,975 million in the same period of the previous year.
