With Big Mouth coming to an end after 8 seasons, it’s not all doom and gloom for fans as Netflix, Brutus Pink, and Titmouse will be teaming up once more for a brand new animated series, Mating Season. The series will be coming to Netflix in 2026, and is centered on the horny animals of the woods as they look to hook up and find their mates.
Mating Season is an upcoming Netflix Original adult animated comedy series created by the team of Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett, Andrew Goldberg, and Nick Kroll, with Brutus Pink as a producer. Meanwhile, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina are serving as executive producers for Titmouse.
John Derderian, Vice President, Animation Series, expressed his gratitude for the work that went into Big Mouth and the excitement he has for the release of Mating Season:

What is the plot of Mating Season?
The plot details are limited, but Netflix has shared the following details about the plot:
“Set in the animal world starring a cast of bears, raccoons, deer, foxes and a host of other horny, lovable forest critters, as they navigate love, sexual relationships and the universal need to hook up and find a partner.”
Who are the cast members of Mating Season?
At the time of writing, there are no confirmed cast members for Mating Season. Considering that Nick Kroll is a creator of the series, and given the sheer number of voices he provides in Big Mouth, we expect Kroll will return to voice at least one of the main characters in the series.
