Joint market capitalization of ten most valuable companies increased by an impressive 3,84,004.73 crore during the holiday-shorted week, run by a strong rally in equity markets. HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel led the benefits between top artists.
In the same period, the BSE Sensex increased by 3,395.94 points or 4.51%, while the NSE Nifty rose by 1,023.1 points to mark an increase of 4.48%.
A strong recovery was observed in the markets and increased by more than 4.5 percent in a holiday-centered week, inspired by both domestic and global fronts, that said Ajit Mishra-SVP, Research, Riligre Broking Limited.
“The rally was mainly fuel by optimism around the recent discounts on tariffs’ deficient and select products, which enhances hopes for potential negotiations that can reduce the impact on global trade.
Mishra said, “As the weeks progressed, the market participants positively responded to a group of favorable developments, including updates on a general monsoon, to reduce retail inflation – which raised expectations for a possible policy rate – and the absence of any major negative surprise from the global markets,” said Mishra said.
HDFC Bank saw the biggest advantage in market evaluation among top ten companies, To reach 76,483.95 crores 14,58,934.32 crore.
Bharti Airtel’s market price increased 75,210.77 crore, furthering its total assessment 10,77,241.74 crore.
Reliance Industries added 74,766.36 crore for its evaluation 17,24,768.59 crore, while ICICI Bank’s market cap increased 67,597 crores 10,01,948.86 crore.
State Bank of India emerged 38,420.49 crore in its evaluation 7,11,381.46 crore.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) saw its market cap growing 24,114.55 crore 11,93,588.98 crore, and Bajaj Finance received 14,712.85 crores, bring its evaluation 5,68,061.13 crore.
ITC evaluation increased 6,820.2 crore 5,34,665.77 crore, while Infosys added 3,987.14 crore, arrive 5,89,846.48 crores.
Hindustan Unilever’s market cap increased 1,891.42 crore 5,57,945.69 crores.
Reliance Industries continued the top position as the most valuable Indian company, followed by HDFC Bank, TCS, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, SBI, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever and ITC.
