Mercedes-Benz India has announced the expansion of its service network in the southern region with the inauguration of three new features in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. This step confirms the commitment of the German automaker to the major metropolitan markets to strengthen its customer engagement and reinforcement services.
In Bengaluru, Sundaram Motors has opened a new luxury service center at the International Airport. The feature designed to conform to Mercedes-Benz’s global Mar20X architecture standard includes the concept of the brand signatures ‘Aero Hub’ and ‘Pit Stop’, which aims to maximize the customer facility.
With a manufactured area of 23,000 square feet and a total footprint of 47,000 square feet, the service center is equipped to handle over 4,000 vehicles annually. It has 10 dedicated service bay, a quick body repair area and a 60 kW fast EV charging station.
Meanwhile, in Hyderabad, two new 2S (service and parts) features have been introduced – one by Mahavir Motors and the other by landmark cars. Located near the growing IT Corridor in the city, Mahavir Motors’ facility extends 39,000 square feet and has a monthly dinner of more than 480 vehicles in the houses. The service facility of landmark cars is operated in an area of 12,000 square feet, which is equipped with six bays and capacity to serve more than 150 vehicles every month.
Digitally increased customer experience
Each of these features provides a mixture of digital innovation and luxury design. They include boutique-style counseling space, private discussion room, a Mercedes cafe for customers, and dedicated ‘vehicle handover’ areas, designed as an immersive, media-watched environment. The purpose of these places is to raise the customer travel, especially during the emotional experience of getting a new car.

With these new additions, Mercedes-Benz India now operates more than 125 touching in more than 50 cities. The company said that the expansion is part of the brand’s strategy of the broad ‘Go to Customer’, which focuses on emerging and established urban centers.
