Star Flexi is a multi-rider add-on designed to enhance flexibility and personalisation within the Super Star plan. The variants aim to provide options for a broad range of customers—from first-time buyers in smaller towns to experienced policyholders in metro cities.
Since its launch, Super Star has sold over 1.6 lakh policies, generating ₹580 crore in revenue within seven months.
The plan has gained popularity due to its flexible coverage and customer-centric benefits, the company said.
The three variants under Star Flexi offer varying coverage levels and features:
- Essential: Geared towards first-time buyers and value-conscious customers in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. Coverage starts at ₹5 lakh, including single private room hospitalization, day care procedures, AYUSH treatment, and unlimited sum insured restoration.
- Preferred: Designed for urban families and professionals seeking balanced coverage with long-term benefits. It offers no cap on room rent, air ambulance cover up to ₹5 lakh, health booster benefits, premium return after claim-free years, and additional health services.
- Secure: Tailored for experienced customers looking for comprehensive protection. It provides no room rent cap, air ambulance cover up to ₹5 lakh, unlimited sum insured restoration, a limitless loyalty bonus on renewals, and wellness program access.
Key benefits across the variants include unlimited restoration of sum insured, loyalty bonuses, premium returns, health boosters, and access to the STAR Wellness Program.

Star Health Insurance operates with a wide network of over 14,000 hospitals, more than 7,75,000 licensed agents, and 913 offices nationwide. The company reported a gross written premium of ₹17,553 crore and a net worth of ₹8,668 crore in FY25.
