Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen IndiaVolkswagen India launched Tiguan R-Line, its major SUV at an introductory price of 48.99 lakhs. The new model built on the MQB EVO platform comes with a 4ever care program, including four years of warranty, roadside assistance and three free services.
It will be available on Volkswagen dealership and official website with delivery starting from April 23, 2025.

The Tiguan R-line is powered by a 2.0-liter TSI Evo engine, causing 204 PS peak power and 320 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission and 4motion all-wheel drive and it comes in six color options: Persimamon Red Metallic, Cipperino Green Metallic, Knightshed Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Orex White Pearl and Orester Silver Silver Metallic.
Along with the support of massage function and wood, it also includes “Argu active” seats, including three-zone air conditioning, park distance control with park assist plus, and inductive charging for two smartphones. The Tiguan R-line consists of DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) Pro and a vehicle Dynamics Manager (XDS). This system uses wheel-specific braking and shock absorber adjustment to increase stability, agility and comfort. Tiguan R-line 21 Level 2 is equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance System) features. Security features include nine airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, hill start assist, hill decent control and front and rear disc brakes. The Tiguan R-line has a 5-star Euro NCAP security rating.
Wireless app-connect Apple is available with wireless charging for CarPlay and Android Auto. Navigation information is originally integrated from infotainment system to digital cockpit.
