The previous week, two hands-on videos of the standard Google Pixel 9 were leaked, and now it’s the turn of the Pixel 9 Pro XL to receive the identical treatment. Today, it was seen on TikTok in two brief videos.
The initial comparison is with the Pixel 9, which is expected to be smaller than the Pro XL.
The next video displays the Pixel 9 Pro XL next to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, providing insight into the size of the upcoming Pixel and how it stacks up against Samsung’s top flagship.
Google will introduce the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold on August 13, during an unexpected event occurring two months ahead of schedule. We thought the company may have decided to do so to avoid leaks, but that strategy is clearly ineffective.
The Pixel 9 will follow the Pixel 8, and the Pixel 9 Pro XL will succeed the Pixel 8 Pro. The Pixel 9 Pro will contain the same components as the Pixel 9 Pro XL but will be similar in size to the Pixel 9, and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is the next version of the first Pixel Fold. I hope that clarifies Google’s strategy for this year.
Yesterday, the prices of these devices were leaked, showing a combination of staying the same or increasing compared to last year. Samsung also raised prices for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 this week, following this unfortunate trend.
