It’s a huge moment that could see the franchise go toe-to-toe with Warzone, and players are positively fizzing with excitement to see if EA can pull of the impossible and usurp the Battle Royale champion.

This news has been officially revealed by a new blog post from EA, announcing that the update 1.1.0 will hit the game at 2am PDT / 5am EDT / 9am GMT, before the content becomes officially available later on. You will be able to install the update at this time, ready to leap into its Battle Pass and new maps the moment the season begins.
To be fair, it’s a pretty good system that will help players to jump into the game’s new content after technically preloading the update. It’s a nice touch, and another tidbit that’s making Battlefield 6 stand so tall right now. If you thought the game was starting to drag after a number of hours pumped in so far, prepare to be proven wrong.
