Tesla owners can activate a safety measure called “Santri Mode” on their vehicles, which can help reduce the threats in view of the widespread barbarity that targets Elon Musk’s electric car company or can help reduce dangers.
When the orange mode is enabled, the vehicle operates the camera and the sensor and is ready to record the suspected activity nearby.
According to Manual, owner of Tesla Model 3, “Think of orange mode as a wise vehicle safety system that alerts you when it detects potential hazards nearby.”
Tesla’s vehicles with orange mode will be activated, pulses the headlights, ringing and displaying a message on the touchscreen say that the camera can record as a warning for those outside the vehicle if a threat is detected or if its sensors are like a “shocking movement”.

The orange mode also sends an alert to the owner of the vehicle to the Tesla mobile app and protects the event footage in a USB drive when installed in the vehicle.
The Tesla Security has been spotted after the nationwide incidents targeting electric vehicles, dealerships, storage lots and charging stations against Musk, which was tapped by President Donald Trump to lead the government’s efficiency department (DOGE). Dogge was tasked to reduce waste federal expenses and has closed thousands of federal employees as part of its cut.

Since January 2025, Tesla electric vehicles have been targeted in at least nine states according to the FBI, stating that it expresses complaints against people including frescoes in the incidents involved in arson, bullets and vandalism, who see criminals as racists, fascists or political opponents.

So far, three persons have been accused in federal matters after using Molotov cocktails to attack Tesla properties across the country. Each facial is accused of minimum five years and is in jail for up to 20 years.
Former Republican Presidential candidate Larry Elder reduced the attacks against Teslas on ‘The Evening Edit’.
Attorney General Pamela Bondi said on Thursday, “The days of committing crime without results are over.” “Give it a warning: If you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”

The orange mode, which is disabled by default, can be activated in many ways.
Owners can go to the control room and safety sub -section and activate the safety measures using a car touchscreen. It can also be activated using the Tesla app or using the Voice Command, “Protect Tesla.”
