All news and explainers on Taaza Khabar (https://taazakhabar247.com) are free to read. Readers may choose to make a voluntary payment to support our work through the Support Taaza Khabar page. This policy explains how such payments, refunds and cancellations work.
What a support payment is
- A support payment is a one-time, voluntary payment for our free digital news content. You choose the amount.
- It does not unlock paid content, does not create a subscription and does not renew automatically.
- It is not a charitable donation and has no tax benefit.
- Payments are received by Ajay Kumar Mahawar, who runs Taaza Khabar. Nothing is shipped, because no physical goods are sold.
Cancellations
Support payments are one-time payments, so there is nothing to cancel after a payment succeeds. If a payment is still pending in your bank or UPI app, it will either complete or be reversed automatically by your bank.
Refunds
- Because support is voluntary, successful payments are generally not refundable.
- We will refund in full if you were charged twice for the same payment, paid a wrong amount by mistake, or did not authorise the payment.
- To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of the payment through our contact page with the date, amount, payment method and transaction or UTR reference.
- Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method within 7–10 working days. The time for the money to appear depends on your bank.
Failed payments
If money was debited but the payment failed, it is normally reversed automatically by your bank or payment provider within 5–7 working days. If it is not, contact us with the transaction reference and we will help.
Contact
For any question about a payment, use our contact page. We will never call, email or message you asking for money or for your card, UPI PIN or OTP.
