The latest groundbreaking motorcycle from Bajaj, the Freedom, was released recently with a price tag of 95,000 rupees. This motorcycle has generated excitement and caused some two-wheeler brands to feel anxious. Using both CNG and petrol in this motorcycle will significantly reduce the bike’s operating expenses.

In the recent tales, we have shared all the details about the bicycle – specifications, attributes, options, and even shades. However, in this piece, we analyze the general fuel economy of the Freedom when using CNG and petrol.

Bajaj has stated that the ARAI fuel efficiency of 101kmpl per kg of CNG gas. When running on gasoline, the bike can supposedly travel up to 65 kilometers per liter. With 2kg of CNG gas, the motorcycle can travel approximately 202kms, and with the petrol engine, it can cover an additional 130kms. When the riding ranges are added together, the Bajaj Freedom has a total estimated riding distance of around 330 km. However, this number could change depending on the state of the roads (uphill areas) and the condition of the bike such as tire pressure or the proper lubrication of the chain.

Bajaj asserts that they have observed significantly higher fuel efficiency numbers in their internal tests, but they are not permitted to disclose these figures legally. Currently, it is stated that the operating expense of Freedom is slightly above Rs 1 per kilometer in most states. However, the running expenses will fluctuate regularly because of the varying prices of our fuels.
